Jonathan Hibbins appointed Division Manager for new Asset Protection services

Asset protection has always complemented our core work as specialists. From bollards to bespoke protection systems, we’ve designed and installed it all. At ISD Solutions (part of the P&M Group), we have consistently invested in service offerings that not only ensure our projects’ longevity and durability but also enhance workplace efficiency and safety.

Today, we see an exciting opportunity to establish asset protection as the dedicated department it deserves with focused expertise. Soon to introduce the new ISD Protection, we’re delighted to welcome Jonathan Hibbins to the business as Division Manager. Jonathan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in this industry, which will be instrumental in driving this initiative forward.

We recently caught up with Jonathan to learn more about his background and vision for the new department.

What is your professional background?

Initially, I pursued a career in physical education, drawing on my sporting background. However, my career path shifted after college. I spent 16 years with one of the largest retail manufacturers, where I progressed from floor sweeper to account director, with various roles from managing service engineers eventually moving into the commercial department.

I was later approached by McCue Corporation, where I transitioned into the construction field—a completely new world for me. With extensive experience across multiple divisions, I led the industrial safety division, building the UK market and expanding opportunities internationally. During this time, and in subsequent roles with similar companies, I’ve had the privilege of working with major global customers in various sectors, further honing my expertise in asset protection.

What is your ambitions for the new ISD Protection Department?

At its core, my goal is to reinforce ISD Solution and the P&M Group’s reputation for exceptional delivery, high quality results, and ensuring clients’ loyalty and long-term investment in minimising facility damage. Before diving into broader goals, my immediate focus is on solidifying the foundations of the 3Ps—People, Property, and Process—to ensure we meet the criteria for effective asset protection.

While nurturing strong client relationships, I hope to mark a significant influence in the existing sectors we serve at ISD, including cold storage, the food chain, food service and manufacturing. In the long-term, I aim to expand into additional opportunities where the protection of workplace assets is critical across a broad range of operational sectors.

What do you get up to in your personal time?

I take pleasure in spending time with my family.

I have always been an active person playing rugby for 20 years. Since I stopped playing, I keep fit going to the gym every day. This is important for me as endorses a healthy lifestyle for mental and physical wellbeing.

I have aided in raising £100,000 running 5 marathons in 5 days with my 2 friends to assist for the care of a terminally ill friends’ sister and family. Helping people is especially important to me due to my youngest son having special needs.
