ISD Solutions initiates Integrated Management System for ISO Certification

SD Solutions has launched a project to develop an Integrated Management System with a view to independent registration later this year. The new system will incorporate ISO.9001 Quality Assurance, ISO.14001 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety requirements into one unified management system that will enhance performance and efficiency throughout the business.

CEO Andy Moon is the key sponsor of the project internally, with Graham Pritchard appointed as IMS Project Manager. A multi-disciplined team approach is being taken with an influential core team involved at all stages and staff will be kept informed of progress.

The core team comprises Andy Moon, Graham Pritchard, Gareth Ross, Paul Saunston, and Paul Chivers.

Some new processes and activities will be introduced that will give enhanced visibility to concerns and corrective actions. A series of objectives and initiatives are to be deployed within the business that will enable Continuous Improvement as required by the three standards.

All members of staff and contractors will have an influence upon the success of this project and will be kept informed of the progress via the core team.

It is anticipated that ISD will be aiming towards registration in the late summer of 2016.
